Saxton Family Farm is a corn, soybean, and beef finishing partnership in Martin County, Minnesota owned and operated by Calvin & Jody Saxton.
Calvin has a lifelong involvement in farming and cattle feeding. Calvin completed the South Central College Farm Business Management and Advanced Farm Management programs. Calvin assisted his father in farming and cattle feeding prior to beginning farming in 1983. At that time he began with 50% interest in a 240 head group of cattle and 120 cash rented acres. Jody Saxton completed the Accounting/Business Management Program at Rasmussen College. Jody brings working career experience and expertise in accounting and farm taxation to the family partnership.
